Who is Vicky Ross
Vicky grew up in a multi cultural environment, being born in East Africa, having a Greek father and a Dutch mother. This lifestyle made Vicky aware of the diversity in people through their cultures and in themselves. This combined with a fortunate childhood that involved a lot of travel and the chance to have lived in 7 different countries gave her the chance to experience a wide range of personality types. She has a very curious mind and various life circumstances brought her to the belief that there had to be more to life than the ‘daily struggle’, there had to be a bigger purpose!
A ‘light bulb’ moment at the age of 23 made her stop and take a long hard look at her life and the direction it was heading in. She decided that now was the time to create the future she wanted for herself.
Armed with the knowledge she had gained from years of reading personal development books ranging from philosophy, spirituality and hypnotherapy, she set of on this new path starting with soft skills training for South African Airways.
After moving to England, she took some time off from work to have a family. Throughout this time she continued her insatiable quest for knowledge constantly reading, researching and attending courses.
She went back in to the personal development world in a professional way after her second child and started a company with the vision to help educate people to ‘think about their thinking’ and how this affects their behaviour.
The constant theme that runs through all of her training is that there is no greater power to give someone than the power to be in control of themselves.
Her belief in what she does shows in her training which is always full of passion and energy - there is no sitting quietly at the back and falling asleep in her training.
Her main advice to anyone else having a light bulb moment of their own, is to keep a curious mind, a journal to analyse yourself and constantly ask yourself one question ‘what would help make my life easier, lighter and free from limitations’.
Remember everyone can have what they want; they just need the right support and knowledge.
